Almas is the ultimate and the world’s highest value Caviar.
Almas in the Persian language translates to Diamonds, in fact referring to the appearance of unpolished Diamonds.
Persian myth or legend who knows, “as the Beluga sturgeon comes to surface of the Caspian it’s at that very moment struck by a bolt of lightning, it’s Caviar turns instantly into diamonds”!!
These Huso Huso Albino Sturgeon predominantly inhabit the southern Caspian Sea of Persian waters and are about 60 years of age when the eggs are harvested.
