Japan is the world's oldest society. Labor shortages, family caregiving, and AI adoption are not separate problems here — they are one story, and I have lived all of it.

After earning a mathematics degree from USC, I spent eight years at a Japanese trading company managing government ODA projects across Oceania, Africa, and Central Asia, then led IT ventures as an executive and CTO. In 2026 I published Still Moving, a memoir of seven years caring for both my parents at home. Today I combine 25+ years of experience with AI to help people and companies get moving again — through Brain Rental, Chachatto AI for small businesses, and Japan Gateway for foreign companies entering Japan.
